New Initiative - NAHEMI Focus Sessions - Call for Proposals
Open Rolling Call - NAHEMI Focus Sessions – In-Person or Virtual
NAHEMI invites proposals from our member institutional to apply for funding to host a NAHEMI Focus Session, which can be held either in-person or online. We welcome submissions on topics that are relevant to our member institutions and contribute to the advancement of film and media education.
Proposals should be no more than 500 words and must include:
Topic: Focus area and intended audience
Host School: must be a member institution of NAHEMI in good standing.
Venue: Location (if applicable) and proposed programme outline
Contact: Primary contact for the event.
Budget: Please indicate if costs are estimated or confirmed
Proposed Date(s)
Focus Sessions are designed as concise one- or two-day events that encourage meaningful discussion, reflection, and knowledge exchange. NAHEMI will provide financial support of up to £1,000 (with potential additional funding up to £3,000, depending on the proposal) to assist with organisational costs.
Please note that travel and accommodation expenses are not covered and ordinarily conference fees shouldn’t be charged.
