Dead Red Kit is an extraordinary animation with an intriguing plot and conclusion, it is a well-executed and produced to a high technical standard and a professional standard.

 What the judges said:

Rickshaw is an original tale that takes a well-to-do family on a mad ride through the darkened, dank, streets, only to be lit up by a lost soul begging for their attention.

This is well-directed film, with an excellent use of pace, movement, art direction and intrigue to tell the story of an uncanny ride.

What the judges said:

Picking Glue is a difficult, but strong self-reflexive story, that uses images, editing and sound in an intriguing and creative way.  This an excellent use of metaphor, creating a menacing and uncomfortable atmosphere that draws the audience into moments of a troubled family history.

Rickshaw is beautifully shot with excellent lighting, and framing, bringing a strong sense of cinematic drama, movement, and pace throughout.

Holding Pattern has a rich and creative soundtrack providing a strong contribution to narrative and atmosphere, bringing a quirky nuance and embellishing story, and meaning.

 What the judges said:

Living Doll is a remarkable story, hugely helped with an edit that is inventive, creative, that leads the audience through a narrative that occurs on many levels. Without a clear aim of how this story should be told, this portrait might have easily been lost.
