We are, at last, pleased to announce that submissions on FilmFreeway for Eat Our Shorts 2023 is now open!
You can submit your student films here:
https://filmfreeway.com/EatOurShorts2023
The deadline is Monday 30th October, we apologise for the tight turn around, the screening date is Friday 17th November at the BFI Southbank from midday to 4.30. Awards will be presented on the day! (details of timings tbc).
As you know, Eat Our Shorts is NAHEMI's exciting annual student film festival, compiled and screened to present and celebrate emerging student film talent in the UK. Our festival unites students, staff, and members of the film industry in a screening of student shorts from around the country.
This is our opportunity to showcase the excellent work produced by students this past year.
Animation, fiction, and documentary are all welcome! Members can submit a single film of no longer than 12 minutes, or a programme of films totalling no more than 12 minutes in running time, including credits. (If they choose, members can submit one film that is longer than 12 minutes, which can be included at the discretion of the festival organisers, in place of their shorter film or programme of films. However, they must also submit a film of 12 minutes or less, which will be screened should it not be possible to schedule the longer film).
We are very much looking forward to receiving your films to see what gems this year has produced!
Good luck
