In 2020, students from Universities and Film Schools associated with NAHEMI were invited to take part in this special COVID19 event. Students were asked to submit one-minute films based on reflections of the pandemic. The suggested themes were isolation, changing times, a dystopian world, threat of the virus, new world order, social distancing, lockdown, and freedom. A panel of film experts selected winners in various categories and awards, including a special Canon award, were presented in an online ceremony.
