The Fee

The institutional membership fee of £150 runs from 1st September to 31st of August each year and entitles each school or department to one vote at NAHEMI meetings and participation in the various initiatives run by the organisation. All colleagues within each member institution can receive news about and participate in NAHEMI events if they wish, and one of them should become the NAHEMI representative for their school or department.

The Benefits

As well as meeting colleagues with shared interests and providing a range of opportunities for showing student work, membership offers two other tangible benefits. Each NAHEMI representative receives an annual subscription to the Journal of Media Practice (3 issues per year) and a free copy of the student films and videos shown at the Brief Encounters festival.
