NAHEMI Kodak Commercials Competition: The WINNERS!!!

The Regent Street Cinema, London was full to bursting for this year’s NAHEMI Kodak Commercials Awards evening. We screened all 51 entries and presented awards for 1st, 2nd and 3rd in each brief.

We also presented Craft Awards for Script, Cinematography, Concept, Production and Sound, as well as the much coveted Overall Winner, Second, Third and (this year) Fourth place awards.

As usual, the competition was judged by the advertising agencies that provided the briefs, plus top commercials director, Susannah Hayes,  Kodak’s Sam Clark, and the Chair of Nahemi, Suzie Hanna.

Judges: Suzie Hanna; Charlie Inman; John Wood; Mark Brandis; Susannah Hayes

The Awards were presented beautifully by Andy Golding, Royal Photographic Society, and Dougal Wilson, Commercials Director, whose work includes multiple John Lewis Christmas ads, John Lewis ‘Always a Woman’, ‘Tiny Dancer’, Channel 4 Paralympics, Lurpack, and Ikea ‘Ghosts’  (

Congratulations to everyone who entered the competition – it was fantastic to see such a variety of ideas and concepts from undergraduate and postgraduate students from all over the UK. Let’s keep keeping film alive! #filmforever
