NAHEMI Student Screening at Encounters Film Festival 2018

Congratulations to all of the student filmmakers who had their work screened at the NAHEMI programme at Encounters Film festival yesterday, held at the SOLD OUT Watershed Cinema in Bristol.

The award winners (pictured with Freya Billington from NAHEMI/ UWE, Bristol and David Green from Arri ) were as follows :

  • Award for best Undergraduate Film, “Dearly Departed” (University of Gloucestershire)
  • Award for best Cinematography, “Three Centimetres” (London Film School) :¬†Arri have very generously given an extra prize of a three day lighting course worth 900 euros for this award !
  • NAHEMI Creative Filmmaking Award, “Inanimate” (National Film & Television School)

 

 

 

 

We’re looking forward to the next NAHEMI screening event ‘Celebrating Ambition, Vision and Talent’ at the Aesthetica film festival, in York on Friday 9th November.
