NAHEMI members are invited to submit 200 word abstracts for selection for presentation at Talking Shop 2014 to be held on Wednesday 9th July at the BFI Southbank .
The purpose of the day is to share our ‘best kept secrets’ and to raise issues that we want to discuss with our colleagues. Suggestions for themes for this year include: Drawing and Film, Production Design, Sound Design, Creation of film audience communities, Old and new narratives.
Proposals can be for 20 minute papers or for Pecha Kucha presentations. (For those of you not familiar with the term, this is now a convention for presentations where 20 slides are shown for 20 seconds each – six minutes and 40 seconds in total).
Please email your abstracts to NAHEMI Secretary Suzie Hanna firstname.lastname@example.org. The deadline for proposals is April 21st 2014.
